“The starting point of all achievement is desire. Keep this constantly in mind. Weak desires bring weak results, just as a small amount of fire makes a small amount of heat.” Napoleon Hill

  1. Now this quote interests me, because it appears to contradict one of the messages I keep hearing when I read books like The Yoga Sutras. In much of Eastern philosophy we are taught to let go of our desire and free ourselves from the world. That seems like good advice until you start to take it too far and then you run into a state of complete apathy where nothing has meaning and you no longer want to do anything.

Gurus say yup, that’s right, do nothing, escape from the bondage of the world. But my deepest instinct is to do, and then to do more, and then to do it again bigger this time.

  2. Through different books and my own experience I would state the formula:
    1. Desire…this quote is only about the first step
    2. Visualize
    3. Decrete in paper
    4. Start acting with no set outcome…means just start doing actions that can bring you closer to your goal.
    5. Be sure of your manifestation.

    happy true life to you
